Kids Swiss Alps Girl Costume

The kids' Swiss Alps girl costume is anything but neutral! The dress is styled to look like a chemise and vest over a dirndl skirt, and fastens with a back zipper. The short puffed sleeves and ruffled chemise neckline are white cotton broadcloth. The vest bodice is sueded pink brushed cotton knit, trimmed with white, green and pink brocade ribbon. The skirt is green cotton poplin, trimmed with the same brocade ribbon. The white petticoat is an elastic-waisted yoke supporting a tier of netting edged with gathered lace. The brown choker, suspenders (note: they do not have a gold flower in the center as pictured), and belt are all sueded brown brushed cotton knit. The belt fastens with Hook and Loop fastener in back and has four gold-tone filigree buttons where the suspenders are attached. It has a white broadcloth apron trimmed with brocade ribbon sewn to the front. The suspenders are joined by an embroidered front panel, and have one buttonhole on each front end to attach to the belt, and three buttonholes on each back end so the length can be adjusted. The choker fastens with Hook and Loop fastener. Great as part of a multi-cultural kids group this Halloween with our other international costumes.
